How does Tapzo work?

Each Tapzo card has a chip inside it, that is encoded with your tapzo profile, custom url, or vCard. 

These chips interact with the NFC reader that is inside the majority of all smartphone, when tapped onto the NFC reader on the smartphone.

The smartphone then loads your Tapzo profile or custom url you set, or vCard contact file. 

You can customize your Tapzo profile in your account to include what information and links you wish to include.

What is a smart business card?

A smart business card also known as an NFC business card; is a business card with a semiconductor chip inside that has information encoded onto it.

This chip interacts with a smartphone to display your contact info using the Tapzo ecosystem.

What smartphones work with Tapzo?

The simplest way to put it is: If a smartphone supports Apple Pay or Google Pay, then that smartphone also works with Tapzo.

The majority of all smartphones made in the last few years will work with a Tapzo card. In 2018 it was estimated that 73% of smartphones have NFC reading capabilities. With this number increasing year on year.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship worldwide. 

We’re based in London, UK.

If you’re ordering from outside the UK; your order may be subject to custom fees based of import laws and taxes in your country.

How do I get a replacement card?

If you have lost or broken your Tapzo card, you can purchase a replacement through your account for a discounted price.

Simply log into your account and from your dashboard; click ‘order a replacement card’ you will be directed to our online store but have your discount applier automatically at checkout.

Purchase more than 1 card? 

Yes, you can purchase multiple tapzo cards however you can only have one tapzo profile. 

You can have multiple spare tapzo cards that are linked to your profile, but not multiple profiles.

If you want multiple profiles, make sure to purchase each card with a different email address as this email is what the profile is connected to.

What file types do you accept?

We prefer to work with the following file types:

PDF, JPEG, PNG, AI, EPS, PSD.

We can accept almost any major image format.

How do I use my Tapzo card?

Tap your Tapzo smart card onto any smartphone’s NFC reader (wherever you tap your phone to pay for ApplePay or GooglePay)

Make sure that the smartphone is unlocked or has its screen woken up.

How do I edit my profile?

Once you have purchased your Tapzo smart card an account will be created for your automatically.

Either follow the instructions in your email or the quick start guide supplied with your card to log in and begin editing your profile.

Yes!

You can have your Tapzo card be linked to any custom URL or a vCard file.

Download our app which is available on Android and iOS devices and use that to switch your card connection.

Remove Tapzo branding from profile?

If you don’t want our branding on the bottom of your profile, you can remove this for a onetime fee. 

To do this, log in to your account and navigate to the section on your dashboard that says remove Tapzo branding.

Can you design my card for me?

Yes. If you need us to create the artwork for your card, we can do this for a fee.
